1. Who We Are

Auto DM Studio by LidnTech is an independent software plugin designed for WordPress that helps automate messaging and engagement through Meta’s platforms (Facebook™ and Instagram™). LidnTech is an approved Tech Provider for Meta Platforms.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WordPress, Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook™, or Instagram™.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following types of information, depending on how you use the Plugin or website:

a. Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you register on our message board or community area, we collect your username, email address, and password (stored securely and hashed).
  • Support Requests: When you contact us for support, we may collect your name, email, and any information you provide voluntarily in your message.
  • Plugin Configuration Data: Certain settings you enter in the Plugin (e.g., Facebook Page, Instagram account, message templates, access tokens) will be stored on our server for operational purposes. All access tokens are encrypted.

b. Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: We may collect anonymized technical information such as your browser type, operating system, IP address, and WordPress version to help improve Plugin performance.
  • Message Data: We process message data through the platforms that you grant us access to (eg. Facebook or Instagram). We keep track of users whom have contacted you so that we can enforce Meta’s rules to only allow automated contact to these users within 24 hours of being contacted. We do not store the contents of any direct messages or comments provided by the platforms you grant us access to.
  • Cookies: Our website and message board use cookies to maintain sessions, preferences, and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work properly.

c. Meta API Data

When you connect Auto DM Studio by LidnTech to your Meta (Facebook or Instagram) account via OAuth:

  • We receive access tokens from Meta’s Graph API.
  • These tokens allow Auto DM Studio by LidnTech to perform permitted actions (e.g., send messages, retrieve comments, or display insights).
  • We do not store or share these tokens outside your WordPress installation unless explicitly necessary for plugin operation (for example, caching API calls).
  • Analytics and Usage Data: When messages are processed through the plugin, we automatically collect aggregated usage metrics such as the number of messages sent, message delivery and read counts, follower counts, and platform reach data. This information is used solely to provide reporting and analytics features within the plugin dashboard. We do not access or store the content of private messages except as necessary to transmit them via the platform API.

We do not collect or store private messages or personal data from your Meta account beyond what is required for the Plugin’s intended functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Plugin and related services.
  • Authenticate and manage user accounts.
  • Respond to support inquiries.
  • Analyze Plugin performance and user activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information only under the following circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: For hosting, analytics, or support (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare, Google Analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality and data protection terms.

  • Plugin configuration and API data are stored only as long as required for Plugin operation.
  • Logs or temporary cache data may be retained for debugging and performance optimization for up to 90 days.

13. Meta API Compliance Statement

Auto DM Studio by LidnTech uses the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Graph API in compliance with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
We do not request, collect, or store any data beyond what is necessary for the Plugin’s core functionality.
Users can disconnect the Plugin’s access to Meta data at any time through their Meta account settings or by deactivating the Plugin.
